The Battleground scoreboard includes some player stats
Type /kp stats <player_name> to view that player's stats, or simply type /kp stats to view your own stats.

You can view your stats in the Battleground scoreboard, which is usually found on the right side of your screen.
Kills: The number of times you have killed a player
Deaths: The number of times you have died
K/D Ratio: Your ratio of kills to deaths - the higher the number, the better
KillStreak: Your current number of kills in a row without dying
Level: Your current Battleground level - level up by gaining Experience
Experience: Your current amount of Battleground Experience - gain Experience by killing players
